Based in Portland, Maine Ed Pfueller most recently serves as the Communications & Outreach Manager at UOAA , a national nonprofit. He ended his career as University Photographer at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC on a high note the week after leading the photographic coverage of the historic visit of Pope Francis. Previously he has worked as a staff photojournalist at newspapers in Sarasota, Florida, and Columbia, Missouri. He is a graduate of the Visual Journalism program at the Rochester Institute of Technology and his work has been seen in publications around the world, including assignments for L'Express, USA Today, The New York Times and U.S. News and World Report. With a passion for all things Americana, he has traveled extensively in the lower 48 states in an RV with his wife, Jenna, who is also a photojournalist. Living in Maine he finds it easy to continue to be an avid camper, kayaker, nordic skier, and gardener.
